In short: we collect only what you send us through our forms, use it to respond to you and provide our services, and never sell it. This site does not set advertising cookies, and optional analytics run only if you accept them.
Who we are
This website, tridentechnicalconsulting.com, is operated by Trident Technical Consulting ("Trident," "we," "us"), an AI automation and workflow consulting business based in Tennessee, USA. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this website. You can reach us at info@tridentechnicalconsulting.com.
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you request an audit or send us a message, we collect what you enter in the form:
- Name and email address
- Company name and phone number, if you provide them
- Your area of interest and the contents of your message
We also keep the emails, scheduling details, and call notes from our conversations with you.
Information collected automatically
- Hosting logs. Our hosting provider (Google Firebase) records standard technical data when you load a page, such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, to deliver and secure the site.
- Web fonts. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address and browser information when the font files are requested.
- Optional analytics. If you accept analytics in the cookie banner, we use Apollo.io's website visitor tool, which identifies the company a visit comes from, and Google Analytics, which measures site use in aggregate. Neither runs unless you accept. See Cookies and similar technologies.
How we use information
- To respond to your request and schedule your audit or call
- To prepare proposals and provide the services you engage us for
- To send follow-up emails about your inquiry. Every email includes a way to opt out.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it, if you accept analytics
- To keep the site secure and comply with legal obligations
We may use automation and AI tools, including the kinds of systems we build for clients, to route and draft replies to inquiries. A person at Trident reviews and is responsible for our communications with you.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business, under terms that limit their use of it to providing their service to us. These include:
- Google (website hosting, fonts, email, and the spreadsheets that store form submissions)
- Apollo.io (sales and website visitor tools), if you accept analytics
- Scheduling, email, and customer relationship tools we use to manage conversations with you
- Contractors who help deliver client projects, bound by confidentiality obligations
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or as part of a sale or reorganization of the business.
Cookies and similar technologies
This site does not use advertising cookies. It uses the following:
| Item | Type | Purpose | Runs |
|---|---|---|---|
| trident-consent | Browser storage (essential) | Remembers whether you accepted or declined optional analytics | Always |
| Google Analytics | Cookies (optional) | Measures visits and page use in aggregate | Only if you accept |
| Apollo.io website visitor tracking | Script and cookies (optional) | Identifies the company a visit comes from so we can follow up on business inquiries | Only if you accept |
You can change your choice at any time with , also linked at the bottom of every page, or by clearing your browser's site data.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, we treat it as declining optional analytics, and those tools will not load.
How long we keep information
We keep inquiry information for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a client, in which case we keep it for as long as our engagement and legal or tax record-keeping require. You can ask us to delete it sooner.
Client project data
Data we process for clients while delivering projects, such as records inside a client's systems, is governed by our written agreement with that client (our services agreement and confidentiality agreement), not by this policy.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including access controls and encrypted connections, to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can opt out of our emails at any time. Email info@tridentechnicalconsulting.com with your request. We will respond within 45 days. Depending on where you live, state law may give you additional rights, and we will honor them where they apply.
Children
This site is intended for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Where information is processed
We are based in the United States, and information is stored and processed in the United States.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the "Last updated" date. If a change is material, we will also note it on our homepage for at least 30 days.
